An interior scene, walking into an old woodworker's shop. The shop is orderly and neat, but well-used. I see a workbench in front of me with a woodworker's vise mounted on it. Several chisels, screwdrivers, mallets, claw hammers, and other such tools are hanging on the wall behind the bench. A very nice black Windsor Chair is positioned on the bench ready for the seat to be repaired. Ambient light is low, and beams of light are streaming in from a source above, with motes of dust floating around in them. Everything is ready for work.
First century Palestine. Jesus walks away from the camera along a road that goes through town with several of His disciples. Jesus wears a plain robe like most ordinary men. The other people are dressed like peasants, farmers, and tradesmen. There are also women in the group, wearing plain, everyday clothing. Some children are playing near the roadside. Merchants are selling their goods in booths along the road. There are houses along the road also. The road goes upward toward the Temple in the far distance.
Morning scene. A 10 year old chinese boy enters a train car at the platform on the MRT in Kuala Lumpur. We see him from the back. Other passengers are inside the train car and also waiting on the platform.

First century Palestine. An evening scene on a rooftop in Bethlehem. The summer air is warm and the evening light is soft. Jesus, wearing ordinary clothing like most men wear, sits at a table across from a Pharisee named Nicodemus who has come to speak to the Master privately. One or two servers stand nearby. Siu Zi is a 10 year old Chinese girl in Guangzhou. Late one humid evening, Siu Zi's father meets with a discreet man known simply as Mr. Chen. In a quiet corner of a small teahouse near the back alleys of Guangzhou, Mr. Chen explains, in careful whispers, how he can help the family obtain the documents they needed to leave the country safely.
