He setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death. From Job 28:3

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

This day, though, I hiked another autumn wood. Eastern Europe ancient; overgrown. So thick the view was dark at just a few feet off the path. All red and yellow; orange and brown, a million trees, each one in blazing preparation for long, frozen winter. I cannot but recall my friend’s words, lasting long, though he did not, and the instant truth that follows. Looking upward at the fiery canopy, matched against the bright cerulean sky beyond, I embrace autumn! Winter surely comes one day, but spring beyond. I have a winter to prepare for, but it is not yet.

“Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.” (Isaiah 53:10, KJV)
But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

A visceral, raw, and highly texturally detailed conceptual artwork. In the center, three crude wooden crosses are silhouetted against a dark, stormy, indigo sky. The central figure, Christ, is "numbered" among two criminals, but his face is bathed in a faint, unseen celestial glow that the others lack. A massive, heavy, shadowy cloak, made of thousands of tiny, interwoven dark figures and faces (representing "the sin of many"), is visibly draped over his shoulders, weighing him down. Below the crosses, the stormy sky is breaking, revealing a sliver of intense golden dawn, hinting at the "portion with the great" yet to come. Symbolic, poignant, high contrast.“Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” (Isaiah 53:12, KJV)

“He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” (Revelation 3:5-6, KJV)

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” (Genesis 1:1-2, KJV)
"A cheerful and fantastical figure with a large, glowing jack-o'-lantern for a head. The pumpkin's face is carved with a distinctly happy, friendly, wide-mouthed smile and joyful eyes. Instead of traditional jagged cuts, the facial features (eyes, nose, mouth) are intricately carved with elegant, swirling, vine-like patterns, giving it a whimsical and artistic look. The pumpkin head emits a warm, inviting orange glow from within.

Dramatically bursting and cascading out of the very top of the pumpkin's head is an overflowing abundance of vibrant, colorful Halloween candy. This candy explosion includes individually wrapped chocolates, lollipops, jelly beans, candy corn, and various brightly colored sweets, all tumbling outwards in a joyous, sugary fountain.

The figure itself has a rustic, scarecrow-like body, perhaps dressed in tattered but festive autumn-colored clothing (e.g., burlap, plaid, or warm browns and oranges), standing in an autumnal setting. The background could feature a gently lit pumpkin patch, fallen autumn leaves, or a soft, blurred evening sky. The lighting is warm and enchanting, highlighting the pumpkin's glow and the glossy sheen of the candy. The overall mood is one of festive joy, playful magic, and autumnal abundance. stylized realism, intricate detail, dynamic composition, warm dramatic lighting, focus on textures (pumpkin, candy), fantasy elements"

A stunning conceptual art piece representing Colossians 2:2. Two vibrant, glowing human hearts are positioned in a dark, cosmic void. They are not touching, but are connected by hundreds of vibrating, iridescent "quantum threads" and swirling subatomic particles. When one heart pulses with golden light, the other reacts instantly with the same frequency, symbolizing quantum entanglement. The space between them is filled with glowing mathematical equations and sacred geometry representing the "treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Hyper-realistic, ethereal, neon-amber and deep violet palette, 8k resolution.
